Dress for Life

This is for all the mornings I want to feel completely lazy or look around at other people that I see dress a little TOO comfortable in the workplace. There is something about the way you are perceived by the clothes you wear whether traveling, working or just running around town. I am all for the comfy days but I love the feeling I get when I mix comfortable with clean and put together. Sometimes it may take a bit more work but it pays off in the long run!

Weekend Inspiration

Lately all I have been hearing from my friends and those around me is about how they feel stuck and at some times myself included can fall into this category. This quote popped into my head this morning as I close another week at the office and plan on spending the weekend organizing the apartment/making some plans for my upcoming future...

Vacation

I am dying for a real vacation... not one of those long weekend "mini vacations" which normally end up being home to New York-- but a 4-5 day real, leave your life behind vacations. In discussing some locations for various travel opportunities in the coming year, I have started to realize there are so many places that are neat and more exciting than sitting at my desk all day  (even though I LOVE my job) and looking out over downtown Dallas... pinning on Pinterest throughout the day doesn't help either.
